My local phisicist said he wouldn't give any anti-malaria medications to any of his family members, i.e. he wouldn't advise me to take those. However, all the official websites claim the necessity of taking those pills for at least six weeks prior to your travel. Even though they damage your liver.
So what would YOU do?
